Mithun Chakraborty - Paresh Rawal starrer Oh My God (OMG) is an upcoming Bollywood film produced by Bollywood star Akshay Kumar along with Paresh Rawal and Ashvini Yardi.

Directed by Umesh Shukla, the comedy drama is inspired by a successful Gujarati play called Kanji Virrudh Kanji and the Hindi play Kishan vs Kanhaiya. It is a story about a shopkeeper Kanjibhai (played by Paresh Rawal) who tries to prove that God does not exist after a natural disaster destroys his shop and wipes off his business assets. Kanjibhai begins to disbelieve in God because he is made to suffer for no fault of his own. The film then tracks Kanjibhai's crusade to take down "God" and convince people of God's non-existence.

As he continues his fight against God, Lord Krishna (played by Akshay Kumar) pays Kanjibhai an unexpected visit and what follows next is a series of conversation between the atheist and God.

The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty and will become the Bollywood launchpad for Nidhi Subbaiah. a popular actress in Kannada films.

Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha as well as ace dancer ace Prabhu Deva will make a special appearance to groove for an item song called Go Govinda. The song was released in August to mixed response from the audience. All soundtracks in Oh My God are composed by Himesh Reshammiya.

Sonakshi Sinha was previously seen with Akshay Kumar in Prabhu Deva's action flick Rowdy Rathore and the recently released fantasy film Joker.

Oh My God is scheduled to release on September 28, 2012.

The promos of the movie featured actor Salman Khan's voice and audience expected the Bollywood superstar to have a role in the film but director Shukla clarified that the Ek Tha Tiger star will not be seen in Oh My God and that Khan's voice was only used for the promos of the film.
