The much-awaited film Jab Tak Hai Jaan is directed by Yash Chopra and produced by Aditya Chopra. It features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma and is a Bollywood drama of love triangle.
SRK plays the character Samar Anand, Katrina Kaif is Khushi and Anushka Sharma is Aikra in the film. Other lead actors of the film are Anupam Kher, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Archana Puran Singh.
The music and soundtrack of Jab Tak Hai Jaan is composed by musical maestro AR Rahman who is collaborating with Yash Chopra for the first time.
This is the first time Katrina Kaif is paired opposite SRK while Anushka Sharma and Khan have acted together in 2008 romantic comedy Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
While the trailer of Jab Tak hai Jaan released on Thursday, September 20 does not reveal much of the storyline, it features Yash Chopra’s trademark style of delivering trailers with eloquent poetic dialogues in Hindi.
In the trailer -- which shows Shah Rukh Khan in both action and romantic roles – SRK is seen declaring his love for the leading ladies in a poetic format with each line ending with Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
The trailer features several steamy and romantic moments between Khan and Katrina Kaif.
But the trailer takes a twist towards the second half where the three main characters are shown devastated, helpless and frustrated. In the last parts of Jab Tak Hai Jaan’s official trailer, SRK reverses his love dialogues with dialogues of hatred “… Nafrat karunga tumse… Jab Tak Hai Jaan…” he says.
The film appears to be a lavish drama filmed in exotic locales in India and in London.
Karan Johar, Bollywood romantic drama director and a friend of Shah Rukh Khan said on Twitter: "Am the hugest Yash Chopra fan". he added that he "can't wait" to see the film. "A true blue romance after a long time!!"
The official trailer received more than 210,000 hits on day one. Watch the official Jab Tak Hai Jaan trailer here:
