On Sunday, June 19th, Kensington’s iconic and prestigious concert hall Royal Albert hall was packed with over 5,000 people as Indian spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar held his Meditation 2.0 “Go Deeper” event.

At the Royal Albert Hall, Sri Sri guided the audience through one of his much-esteemed meditations, silencing the auditorium as thousands experienced it live. Even British Prime Minister David Cameron joined in virtually with a message.

Sharing a couple of photos from the fully-packed Royal Albert Hall on his Twitter account, Sri Sri said: “Meditation 2.0 at the Royal Albert Hall London. PM David Cameron joined virtually with a message and a question.”

The London meditation event also included Satsang (Sanskrit chanting) from the Art of Living repertoire and an interactive session where audience members were given the opportunity to pose questions to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and enjoy his profound and sometimes humorous responses.

Sri Sri’s Royal Albert Hall meditation session is part of the spiritual leader’s UK Tour which started at Manchester and continued in Leicester and Edinburgh before concluding in London today. Sri Sri’s UK tour began on June 12, 2016.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has been identified by Forbes Magazine identified as one of the top five most powerful figures in India and who has reached over 300 million people worldwide.

According to Royal Albert Hall, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has captured the hearts and minds of millions around the world through his meditations, breathing techniques and wisdom.
