While many of them had a week long celebration attending Diwali get togethers and parties, October 19th was mostly reserved for family.
The Bachchans kept their celebrations to a low-key family focused day because of Aishwarya Rai's father's demise. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput celebrated Diwali in style with baby girl Misha. Shah Rukh Khan recorded a message for his fans wishing them love and peace this Diwali. Twinkle Khanna tweeted a photo with husband Akshay Kumar as did Kajol and Ajay Devgan.
Meanwhile while Sonam Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Kriti Sanon shared solo photos of themselves in designer clothes sharing Diwali wishes. Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Sridevi and Sonali Bendre shared photos too.
