Richie Trailer- Nivin Pauly

Nivin Pauly is already a household name in Tamil Nadu, thanks to the blockbuster Malayalam film Premam that became popular among Tamil cinemagoers. Nivin also played a lead character in the bilingual film Neram, directed by Premam director Alphonse Putheran. But Richie will be the first straight Tamil film project from Nivin Pauly.

Sharing the official trailer of Richie on his Twitter account, Nivin Pauly said it was his "dream" to work on a Tamil cinema:

Richie is Tamil remake of Kannada cult blockbuster film Ulidavaru Kandanthe (2014) that made actor Rakshit Shetty popular overnight. Richie is directed by Gautham Ramachandran and stars Prakash Ra, Natarajan Subramaniam, and Shraddha Srinath in lead roles alongside Nivin Pauly's character.

The dark action thriller Richie has many complex shades to the film and many fans are eager to see Nivin bring Rakshit Shetty's character to Tamil audience. Nivin Pauly is also currently busy for his upcoming Malayalam film Hey Jude starring Trisha Krishnan who makes her Malayalam debut.
