Tamasha Trailer launch event: Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali turn up the buzz

 Already a much-awaited film, Imtiaz Ali, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor fueled further excitement and buzz around Tamasha with a stylish and fun-filled official trailer launch event. Ex-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor – one of Bollywood's best loved on-screen pair – were at ease with each other and shared the best camaraderie and chemistry at the launch.

Deepika Padukone looked ravishing in a midnight blue with polka-dotted day dress with gold embellishment in the neckline at the launch event. Ranbir Kapoor, meanwhile, looked dashing in a blue jumper and jeans.

Director Imtiaz Ali also looked cool and relaxed in a casual black shirt and his trademark curly long hair. Tamasha trailer was trending on Twitter amid the buzz created by fans, media and the actors on social media ahead of the launch.

As seen in the official trailer, Tamasha movie is about Ranbir Kapoor's character (Ved) – a small town boy who has grown up in the world of stories and one who is not suited to the corporate rat-race. The film shows Kapoor's life in three stages–as a nine-year-old child, a 19-year-old adolescent and a 30-year-old adult from the corporate world with international exposure. Deepika, who plays Tara, is adventurous and free-spirited woman. She meets Ved during a trip and her quest in the movie is to remind Ved (Ranbir) who he really is. The music of the film is composed my music maestro AR Rahman.

Previously, Imtiaz Ali has released photos from the film sets showcasing the chemistry of the lead pair – Ranbir-Deepika - in the exotic Mediterranean island Corsica, belonging to France. See Tamasha stills here.
