Veere Di Wedding is an upcoming rom-com film starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. The first poster was shared by actor Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker on their individual Twitter accounts announcing that the Mahurat is on October 25th. in hours, it was one of the most trending topics on Twitter in India.
The four women are dressed in traditional lehengas of similar hues.

The film, Veere Di Wedding is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor among others. The film was originally meant to cast Katrina Kaif and Huma Qureshi but eventually it was finalized with Kareena, Sonam, and Swara because of their camaraderie. Much has been spoken about the film being a mostly women crew who got along well and were professional. The film also marks Kareena Kapoor Khan's first film after the birth of her son Taimur with husband Saif Ali Khan.
