Twinkle Khanna trolled for picture with books; her response is priceless

Sharing a photo of herself sitting casually surrounded by books, the former actor said: "Sometimes I get to do this as well- like the Madonna song 'Strike a pose -Vogue, Vogue Vogue!" The photo was a pose for Vogue India magazine.

But soon after the picture was posted, she was trolled on the social media by people who misjudged the photo thinking she is disrespecting books by placing her feet and stilettos on them and by sitting on them.

A prolific user of Twitter and one not to mince words, Twinkle Khanna gave a befetting reply to the nasty comments in this below tweet with the same photo. She captioned the photo and the statement on it as "for the easily outraged-". She added, "The God of Wisdom visits you when you read books not worship them."

Often known for her sense of humour and her Twitter handle "Mrs Funny Bones", the author is busy co-producing her next film Padman.
