Actor-director Kamal Hassan and Endrendrum Punnagai's star cast at the official music launch

Romantic comedy film Endrendrum Punnagai, directed and written by Ahmed also stars Vinay Rai, Santhanam and Andrea Jeremiah in main roles alongside Trisha and Jiiva.

Composer Harris Jayaraj’s work for the film includes six soundtracks and has been described as “catchy tunes” by critics in India.

Actor-director Kamal Hassan and director Bala together launched Endrendrum Punnagai’s music album on Thursday October 24, 2013 and unveiled its CD at the event. The music topped the iTunes India Charts within 24 hours of its release. “Three cheers for Harris,” said Trisha on Twitter congratulating the music composer on the success of the film’s music.

In the film, Andrea Jeremiah plays a sultry character while Trisha’s role looks more traditional, according to the film’s official trailer.

For the launch, actress Trisha was dressed in a cream lace mini-dress while Andrea was dressed in an aqua-blue mini-dress. Actor Jiiva was casual in denim and Kamal Hassan was casual in black.

Kamal Hassan spoke highly of the film’s team and their spirits in the making of the film and urged the audience to watch it adding that he knows the film’s stars including Trisha, Andrea and Vinay personally.

Jiiva-Trisha starring film Endrendrum Punnagai is slated for a 2013 release.
