South Indian Cinema sweetheart Trisha Krishnan breaks engagement
The actress has reportedly even walked out of an unnamed Tamil film project under Varun Manian's production house. But the South Indian cinema heartthrob is far from being heartbroken. Tweeting and putting speculations to rest, the actress said: "Amused by the hazaar (thousands of) speculations doing the rounds.
"Let it rest people. Happy, single and thankful."
The 32-year-old actress who celebrated her birthday earlier this week got engaged to film industry entrepreneur turned producer Varun Manian in January this year in a private ceremony at Varun Manian's residence.
The engagement announcement came as a surprise to many as the actress was rumoured to be dating Tollywood star Rana Daggubati. But Trisha Krishnan has never commented on the rumour and has kept her private life low-profile and private.
The reason for the split is still unknown but Trisha's fans are relieved that the actress is fine and 'thankful'. The couple were slated to marry later this year. Trisha posted a glimpse of her borthday celebration pictures with her closest friends but Varun was conspicuously absent.
Trisha was last seen in the Tamil blockbuster Yennai Arindhaal and is currently busy filming Aranmanai 2, which she announced on her birthday, May 4th.
