Big Star Entertainment Awards: Deepika Padukone-Amitabh Bachchan scoops double awards for Piku
For the event Deepika Padukone wore palazzo trousers and teamed with a corset tunic and teamed it with blingy gold ear drops. At the Big Star Entertainment Awards 2015, the Bajirao Mastani star bagged the Big Star Most Entertaining 'Actor of the Year- Female' as well as 'Actor in a Drama Role- Female', both for the Shoojit Sircar film Piku starring Amitabh Bachchan as her father.
Piku film also won the Most Entertaining Drama movie award at the event. Amitabh Bachchan attended the event looking dapper in a tuxedo. The veteran actor was honoured with Best Actor and Best Entertainer award.
Amitabh Bachchan was seen hugging Sonam Kapoor who looked like a real diva at the event wearing strappy Jimmy Choo sandals and Anmol jewellery. Sonam Kapoor bagged the award for the Best Actor in Romantic Role for her role in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Dilwale actor Varun Dhawan sought Amitabh Bachchan's blessings as he looked sharp in a grey suit. Actor Madhavan, who took a break from doing relief work for Chennai floods, attended the event.
He looked dapper in a bright blue Nehru jacket as he was seen greeting Amitabh Bachchan. Salman Khan, who performed at the show was also seen sharing a funny moment with Amitabh Bachchan.
Badminton Ace Saina Nehwal was also honoured at the event. Saina looked beautiful in a black and gold gown and chunky earrings. Actress Deepika Padukone, a keen badminton player herself, posed for a selfie with Saina Nehwal at Big Star Entertainment Awards show.
