Deepika, Jacqueline, Ameesha sizzle in Race 2: Trailer and pics
Tips Music Films released the first official theatrical trailer on Monday, November 12 – a day before Diwali. Race 2 which is a sequel to 2008 hit film Race featuring Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan among others.

Race 2 features an ensemble star cast of Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandes and Ameesha Patel. It also features Bipasha Basu in a special cameo appearance. Saif Ali Khan will reprise his original Race character – Ranvir Singh.
The film’s plot line is a continuation of the prequel. In the 2008 film, Ranvir Singh (Saif Ali Khan) destroys the fortunes of his rival entrepreneur and horse-owner Kabir. The sequel will see Kabir’s son Armaan (John Abraham) scheming to destroy Ranvir Singh as a revenge.
The trailer, shot in foreign locales including Istanbul’s iconic Blue Mosque, shows Armaan’s devious plans to ruin and kill Ranvir Singh and how the latter narrowly escapes every time.
It also features Anil Kapoor who plays the role of inspector RD from the prequel.
The leading ladies Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandes and Ameesha Patel who play love interests of the lead male characters sizzle in the trailer with intimate scenes, action sequences and racy dialogues.
The soundtrack and music of Race 2 trailer are recreated versions of popular song – Alla Duhai hai – from the first film. But the sequel will have three more new tracks.
Deepika Padukone shared the official theatrical trailer and promo posters of Race 2 on her official Twitter handle. The Cocktail actress also shared stills from the film of all the six characters. “Betrayal is Survival...Welcome to R.A.C.E-2,” she said.
