Spotted! Bollywood celebs descend down in sunny Madrid for IIFA Awards 2016

Film industry’s shining stars and celebs including descended down in sunny Madrid, Spain for the IIFA 2016 (International Indian Film Academy Awards 2016) between June 23rd and June 26th. The red carpet and the show took place on Saturday, June 25th.

Bollywood’s who’s who including Priyanka CHopra, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Anupam Kher, newlyweds Bipasha Basu and Karan Grover, Tiger Shroff, Abhay Deol, Dia Mirza are in Madrid gearing up for the awards weekend. As they made their way to Spain, they shared glimpses of their travel and fun times in Madrid on social media.

The hosts for IIFA awards 2016 are Udta Punjab star Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar. This is the third time Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar are hosting IIFA together – they have done so previously in 2012 and in 2014.

Sridevi Boney Kapoor is expected to take home the Lifetime Achievement Award and as a trubute to Sridevi's glorious contributions to Bollywood, Sonakshi Sinha's dance performance will be to the hit numbers from Sridevi's films.

The 17th IIFA Awards will honour the best artistic and technical excellence in Bollywood and will be held in Spain capital Madrid for the first time. The first awards were presented in 2000 at The Millennium Dome in London, Britain.
