Pics: Poonam Pandey’s Nasha creates a stir ahead of July 26th release

Directed by Jism director Amit Saxena, Nasha is the story of an 18-year-old boy who falls hopelessly in love with a 25 year old woman played by Poonam Pandey. Saxena’s 2003 film Jism, which featured Bipasha Basu and John Abraham was listed as one of the hottest films in a UK poll by Channel 4.

In Nasha, Pandey plays a woman the besotted boy cannot have and tracks how the boy’s unfulfilled desires turn into obsessions.

The film, scheduled for July 26 release is produced by Eagle Home Entertainment and One Line Cinema

But according to Indian Express newspaper in India, Poonam Pandey’s bold images in Nasha on billboards ahead of the film’s release has angered some in Mumbai and Delhi with protestors burning the photos. But the film’s posters, trailers and Poonam Pandey’s pictures have also garnered considerable interest on social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

In Nasha’s posters, Poonam Pandey is seen to be showing off her curves in very skimpy outfits similar to Canadian actress Sunny Leone’s character in the film Jism 2.
