Bajirao Mastani aarti song Gajanana launch one of the most exciting launches in Bollywood history

Ahead of the release of the song, #GajananaLaunch became one of the top most trending topic on Twitter connoting the excitement and hype around the aarti song from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming magnum opus Bajirao Mastani.

Deepika and Ranveer were en route to Pune's Bhalewadi stadium for the official launch of the song.

The launch of Bajirao Mastani aarti song Gajanana coincides with the Ganesh Chaturthi festival celebrations this week. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated across India but particularly popularly in Mumbai and Pune as a legacy to Maharashtrian social reformer and freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak. As a fitting tribute, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh decided to launch the Ganpati-themed song in Pune amid the festive fanfare.

The only other lead star of Bajirao Mastani – Priyanka Chopra – could not make it to Gajanana promo launch because of her commitments to the US television drama Quantico. However, Priyanka Chopra said on Twitter, "My favourite! This aarti song is amazing! Launching soon! "GAJAANANA"," a day before the release.

Following the press meeting, Ranveer Singh said on Twitter: "What mad energy in Pune! Well worth the adventurous journey! Mission Bhalewadi is a success! Agent D [Deepika], u deserve a medal!" Ranveer Singh also shared the full audio of the Gajanana song on the official Bajirao Mastani facebook page.
