Suriya, who is basking in the glory or rave reviews for his latest film 24, walked down the red carpet hand-in-hand with gorgeous wife Jyothika. The star couple was colour co-ordinated in black and looked glamourous and chic.
It looked like black colour was the favourite among the celebrities to shimmer at the red carpet. Actresses Jaya Prada, Nayanthara, Catherine Tresa and couple Suriya-Jyothika all dazzled in black outfits.
Actress Nayanthara looked gorgeous in a black sleeveless dress teamed with quirky black earrings, bright blue pump shoes and smoky eye makeup. The actress was styled for the evening by Neeraja Kona.
Bahubali actress Tamannaah Bhatia dazzled in a dramatic backless white gown with blue and yellow print. The actress's gown was from designer Jean-Louis Sabaji.
Khushbu Sundar, actress and wife of Aranmanai 2 director Sundar C looked every inch a South Indian beauty in a silk saree, chunky jewellery and her trademark smile.
Actress Radhika Sarathkumar also opted for a Kaancheevaram silk saree and traditional accessories.
Actor-Politician Jaya Prada looked glamourous in a black gown teamed with golden accessories.
Meanwhile, actress Catherine Tresa also looked elegant in a black halterneck gown. Other actors from the south who graced the red carpet included actor Arya.
