Nearly 200 UK Indian members have signed a Change.org petition calling for Lord Chamberlain to facilitate the display a sword that was presented in 1875 by Chhatrapati of Kolhapur, Shivaji IV to the then H.R.H. In a significant move, India's Maharashtra government has finished acquiring a North London three-storeyed period property where Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar – the author of Indian Constitution - resided when studying at London School of Economics in the 1920s. It paid over £3 million for the property and will convert it into a memorial. Read more
