Just days before the D-Day, the couple held the Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies in Mumbai. Vidya was seen donning her trademark Kanjeevaram sarees and her favourite designer Sabyasachi’s Bengali outfits for the ceremonies.
The couple’s wedding was held in Vidya’s hometown Chembur and reflected both South Indian and Punjabi cultures.
The Sangeet ceremony was the first of Vidya-Siddharth’s pre-wedding ceremonies where Vidya, her sister Priya and her mother were all seen in traditional sarees and for the Mehendi ceremony the next day, the actress was seen dressed in a mustard-coloured Bengali outfit with traditional jewellery.
